In this March 2019 interview tech entrepreneur and musician, Roger McNamee (born May 2, 1956) expands on his book ‘Zucked: Waking Up to the Facebook Catastrophe’ McNamee talks about his first meeting with Mark Zuckerberg, which he calls the most uncomfortable meeting in his life. He offers a scorching critique of Facebook policies and what he calls their corrosive effects on democracy. Along with making money from his investment in Facebook, McNamee’s rock band got a huge boost from Facebook. He co-founded successful investment funds and was a technical advisor for seasons two through five of HBO’s “Silicon Valley” series and was also responsible for raising the money that created the Wikimedia Foundation
